Last Friday I refered to Horror Fest and a friend of mine asked me what it was. So here we go. Horror Fest is the Comic Con for Horror lovers. If you get your fix from films, comics, action figures, fancy dress or anything else, Horror Fest can tickle your fancy.
Horror Fest has been running for 3 years now, starting in 2015. The first time attended was last year, I went dressed as (Simon Barrett) one of the home invaders from You’re Next and I’m happy to say that quite a few people knew who I came dressed as. Although it was only their second year they have a big reputation (2.4K people marked as attendng according to their page).
The times are from 10am to 4pm, you can come and go as you please, so if you have things you need to do before hand you can come much later if you want (I did last year) although you may miss some of the activities that they have arranged (I did last year). The activities can range from a sneak peek at a local movie coming out soon, talking to some famous Actors, last year was Damien from the original Omen and one of the Deatheaters from Harry Potter (I personally don’t see what he has to do with Horror but whatever).
Kids can get in for £2.00 Adults £5.00 and if you want to sell something there it costs £40.00 for a table. You can get tickets here.
